Casemiro, a midfielder for Man United, was one of the senior stars who returned to Carrington on Saturday for preseason practice.
On Saturday morning, Manchester United began to reintroduce their international team to Carrington for preseason practice.
Those who participated in the international matches from last month were given a long summer holiday before starting their 2023–24 season preparations. Those who did not compete last month on the international stage have been back at Carrington for more than a week.
Luke Shaw, Bruno Fernandes, Alejandro Garnacho, and Marcus Rashford were among those who returned to the club’s training facility on Saturday. They are all currently training hard in preparation for the club’s upcoming preseason tour of the United States.
Casemiro, a Brazilian midfielder, was one of the prominent figures at Carrington on Saturday. He made his Old Trafford debut during this preseason after joining the team from Real Madrid in August.
As he entered the practice field, Casemiro flashed his new hairdo while beaming broadly. He chose a cropped look, so he could show off a new look to his comrades.
However, it appears that Neymar, a teammate from Brazil, was more impressed by the midfielder’s new haircut because he responded to the United midfielder’s Instagram picture. Casemiro posted a picture of himself entering the practice area with the comment, “Homecoming.”
In his first year at M16, Casemiro was outstanding and a major factor in the club’s turnaround under Erik ten Hag. He worked in the engine room with Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes, helping the Reds resolve their midfield problems from the 2021–2022 season.
In his first season at Old Trafford, he appeared in 51 games and contributed seven goals and six assists. In the previous season, only four United players scored more goals than him.
