However, this NBA season, the Nuggets are playing with a chip on their shoulder. Nine of their first eleven games have been wins, and two have been ties.
Jokic is the driving force behind the incredible play of the Nuggets, so this was expected.
So much so that, according to an NBA on ESPN tweet, Jokic currently ranks in the top 10 in four crucial scoring metrics.

At the time of the tweet, Jokic was shooting 60.6% from the field and scoring 29.8 points, 13.7 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game.
He was fifth in points, first in rebounds, fifth in assists, and seventh in field goal percentage. He was named NBA MVP twice.

That being said, Jokic could win his third MVP award if he keeps playing this well.
If the veteran center isn’t named the regular-season MVP, he still plans to try to win another championship for the Nuggets.
To be honest, it doesn’t seem like a crazy dream for the Nuggets.
