Despite the Lakers’ early-season struggles, Russell Westbrook remains unfazed. He and his family traveled to the Happiest Place on Earth. Westbrook is a native of Southern California.
Russ had the perfect opportunity to spend quality time with his family the following weekend as the Lakers, who had just finished their Friday game against the Clippers, were off.
Westbrook and his wife, Nina, took their kids to Disneyland in Anaheim, California, on Sunday, and they had a great time enjoying the rides at the theme park. They also provided delicious Churros.
While riding, the Lakers phenomenon sat in the front row of the Radiator Spring Racers (picture below). The 33-year-old also went to the Marvel Land attraction Web Slingers Spider-Man at the recently opened California Adventures Park.
Despite an inconsistent season due to injuries and a lack of chemistry, the former UCLA player has been all smiles since joining his hometown Lakers.
Needless to say, Russ is not the first celebrity to visit Disneyland. A-list celebrities who have visited the park include Trey Songz, Nick Cannon, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Halle Berry, Mario Lopez, and Trey Songz.Kobe Bryant had always been a fan of Disney; he loved the attraction.
To try to get back on track, Russ and the Lakeshow will visit Staples on Tuesday to play the Celtics.
