These days, LeBron James enjoys the finer things in life.
The 38-year-old superstar posted a video to Instagram on Monday showing him jamming out while behind the wheel of a classic green Bronco in his home state of Ohio.
“Love being back in my backyard and just cruising around with no care in the world!!!!” the Los Angeles Lakers player exclaimed. The legend of MJ lives on, stank face and all! “Thank you, Life!” wrote “#ThekidfromAKRON.”
James, with a backwards ball cap and a Nike t-shirt that read “Witness,” danced in his seat and sang along to the Jackson 5’s 1980 classic “This Place Hotel” with the windows down, occasionally establishing eye contact and smiling for the camera.
There was a point in the song that the future Hall of Famer seemed lost in the music and began wriggling his fingers as if playing a piano, an apparent tribute to the musical talents of his eldest son Bronny, who died suԀԀenly last month after working out at the University of Southern California.
After receiving treatment for his cardiac arrest at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, 18-year-old Bronny made a speedy recovery and was released.
The next day, the USC student was spotted for the first time since his health scаre, having dinner at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California, with his father, mother, and brothers Bryce, 16, and Zhuri, 8.
The following day, LeBron shared an Instagram video of Bronny playing the piano to the delight of his younger brother and sister.
In the caption of the clip, the NBA legend proclaimed, “GRAND RISING!! Praise be to God! @bronny You totally rock! In a nutshell! Never give up, you young !!! We’re right there beside you the whole way through!
