Just when a GOAT meets another GOAT. Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao met with Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.
Pacquiao shared photos of the rare encounter on his social media accounts on Oct. 29.
They can be seen shaking hands and laughing at each other, even as they pose with other personalities.
“Hey RONALDO!” Pacquiao wrote in the caption.
News outlet TNT Sports Boxing, meanwhile, shared a video of Ronaldo shouting, “Hey, Pacquiao,” as they proceeded to pose for photos.
Pacquiao and Ronaldo attended the Battle of the Baddest boxing match between British Tyson Fury and Cameroonian-French Francis Ngannou. Fury won via split decision.
Pacquiao is the boxer in the world to have become only eight-division champion. He also has twelve major world titles under his belt. He also took his stab at politics, serving as a senator from 2016 to 2022 and running as president in 2022.
Ronaldo, meanwhile, has won over 30 trophies. He was also awarded the Ballon d’Or, France Football magazine’s recognition of the best football players worldwide. He also has a record of three best player titles from the Union of European Football Associations and four European Golden Shoes awards.
