PSG seem ready to sell Mbappe and although Real Madrid are desperate to sign the French captain, they are in no hurry.

Kylian Mbappe is lamenting the pressure in Paris. The France captain thinks he is being underestimated and that he has to perform well. Mbappe insists he wants to win the Champions League, but the PSG team is not good enough. Finally, the French striker used the word split to talk about the current state of the team.

Soon after, a series of PSG players complained to president Nasser Al-Khelaifi about Mbappe’s sharing. Former sporting director Leonardo also called for Mbappe to leave.

Amid the turmoil in Paris, the biggest beneficiary is Real Madrid. For Mbappe, although not yet public, everyone understands that the Bernabeu is his dream destination.

The public criticism of Mbappe’s team is a good sign for Real Madrid. Simply put, the 24-year-old striker seems ready for a new challenge in the Spanish capital. On the contrary, PSG’s position in this race is gradually weakening.

PSG was very angry when Mbappe announced that he would not activate the automatic extension until 2025. However, then PSG still have the opportunity to negotiate, as long as the relationship between the two sides does not go down.

Of course, Real Madrid will not be PSG’s priority. They are ready to listen to other offers when it is reported that Arsenal and Liverpool are considering. PSG want to collect as much money as possible, but it won’t be from Real.

But neither Arsenal nor Liverpool have enough money, while the team with a strong financial background is Manchester City has owned Erling Haaland.

Manchester United also only has a limited budget and many problems to solve. The same goes for Bayern Munich, who are in need of a striker, but Harry Kane is the first priority.

PSG can sell Mbappe anywhere, but the French player wants to play in the Spanish capital – this is the core issue.

Therefore, it is likely that the Ligue 1 champions need to act quickly. 3 weeks ago, it was reported that PSG gave Mbappe an extra week to decide to extend with even higher remuneration than the current one. But so far, things have been far different from PSG’s calculations.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid is in the “advantageous fisherman” position. Los Blancos understand that Mbappe just wants to move to the Bernabeu and is not afraid of him accepting another offer. From a complicated deal, Real suddenly became comfortable and had the right to “wait”.

A few weeks ago, Real Madrid had reason to panic. Benzema is gone, while the targets are not feasible. And while Mbappe may one day be theirs, the real possibility is that Los Blancos will enter the 2023-2024 season without a quality striker.
