This figure is much lower than what the French striker received at PSG (72 million euros per year). That’s not to mention the loyalty amount of 70 million euros for each year this striker plays for the Ligue 1 club. This is an amount that is unlikely to be met by Real.
On June 14, Le Parisien also revealed that despite Mbappe’s personal post about staying at Parc des Princes, PSG still want to sell this player right in the summer transfer window of 2023. The Ligue 1 champions will build. a new squad without a striker born in 1998.
The New York Times reported that PSG expects to earn 186 million euros if they sell Mbappe this summer. Currently, the most expensive deal in the world belongs to Neymar when he joined the Paris capital club for a fee of 222 million euros in the summer of 2017.
Real is a strong candidate to recruit Mbappe this summer. “Los Blancos” is satisfied with the recent move of the 24-year-old and is about to resume negotiations with PSG. Finance is not a problem for Real even though they have just spent 103 million euros to recruit Jude Bellingham.
“Real wants to see actions more than words and Mbappe did exactly what the Bernabeu team needed. Now is the time for Real Madrid to step in,” Cope said. The Bernabeu team is said to have postponed the recruitment of Harry Kane from Tottenham to focus on welcoming Mbappe.
The 24-year-old striker joined PSG in the summer of 2017 on loan from Monaco. After one season, PSG activated a mandatory buyout clause worth 180 million euros. In five seasons in Paris, Mbappe scored 212 goals in 260 matches, along with a series of domestic titles, including five Ligue 1 titles.
