Brazilian maverick Neymar has gone full Alan Partridge as he posed in a captain’s uniform whilst announcing his new deal with a luxury cruise company in Brazil

Neymar donned a captain’s outfit as his new deal with a luxury cruise company was announced.
As rumours surrounding a possible exit from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer swirl, Neymar, 31, has signed a new contract – but with a boat company in his homeland.
The Brazilian superstar is serving as the ambassador for a luxury cruise ship named ‘Ney Em Alto Mar’ meaning Ney on the High Seas.
Although he looked more like Alan Partridge in an all-white sailor’s outfit than the captain of the seas.
It’s been confirmed that the cruise will take place from December 26 to 29 and will make stops in Buzios – a Brazilian resort east of Rio de Janeiro.

The cruise will board and disembark from the coastal municipality of Santos, where Neymar began his footballing career before moving to Barcelona in 2013.
Neymar’s official cruise message read: “You are our guest for the first edition of Ney em Alto Mar, a cruise that was already born being historic.
“Neymar Jr, always daring, led the idea with a star team and gave life to this project that – with all certainty – will be a success.

“It will be 3 days and 3 nights of daring and joy, celebrating everything that our Ney likes the most off the pitch.
“Unmissable attractions and unforgettable shows are coming, emulating every movement of our No.10 on the pitch.
“Get ready for 72 hours of fun on the high seas – only those in the mood to play are invited!
“How about bringing the contagious joy that only our idol has on the pitch to the ocean?”.
It’s unconfirmed whether Neymar will be a guest on the ship with the time of the cruise clashing with the footballing season – especially if Manchester United’s reported interest materialises.

Neymar has been and the Ney Em Alto Mar experience would come in the middle of the Premier League’s busy festive period.
Whilst Ligue 1 will enjoy a winter break next season from December 20 until January 13 – allowing Neymar to attend without interruption on the football pitch.
Neymar has often been seen out partying and lives a wild life off the pitch, meaning this cruise could be pure chaos if it does ‘celebrate everything’ that Neymar enjoys outside of football.
