Brazilian media say Neymar is considering leaving PSG to join a Premier League club this summer.
Due to an injury for several weeks now, Neymar has not been able to play for PSG. However, the Brazilian player still faces many criticisms. Members of Collectif Ultras Paris went to his house to scold him, demanding that he leave PSG. Frustrated by this attitude, Neymar is considering leaving.
Initially, Neymar wanted to complete the contract with PSG until 2027. However, with recent developments, the 31-year-old striker is no longer interested in staying. Therefore, in the event of having to part with the Paris capital club, Neymar wants to change the playing environment. The Premier League could be the next destination in the former Barcelona star’s career.
The Brazilian striker is in the sights of Premier League teams including MU, Newcastle and Chelsea. However, Neymar’s ambition encountered a big obstacle. Daily Mail believes that MU, one of the strong candidates to buy Neymar, will have to consider to avoid violating the Financial Fair Play Law.
Neymar is currently earning up to £606,000 a week, according to L’Equipe. This is a number that makes MU to consider. In addition to the large number, MU under Ten Hag has introduced a salary limit, so it is very difficult for them to break the law because of Neymar.
Meanwhile, Newcastle coach Eddie Howe also denied the possibility of bringing Neymar this summer: “Everybody thinks that the biggest names in world football will come to Newcastle. But at the moment, we are not recruiting. “Finally, we can’t recruit names like that.”
Chelsea is the other team capable of recruiting Neymar. Entrepreneur Todd Boehly always wanted a player of his caliber to join Stamford Bridge to increase the brand value of the team. Before that, he wanted to Cristiano Ronaldo but failed. According to Le Parisien, Chelsea may have to spend up to 90 million euros to buy Neymar.
