It’s possible that LeBron James isn’t the kind of guy you should trust with a basketball on Halloween.
The now 34-year-old athlete usually dresses up for Halloween, but this year he went all out as “LeDward Scissorhands,” a parody of Tim Burton’s Edward Scissorhands from the 1990 movie of the same name.
LeBron James showcased his spectacular Halloween costume on Instagram, depicting a unique take on the character Edward Scissorhands. The costume featured a full leather bodysuit adorned with numerous belts, a black wig styled in a frizzy Edward Scissorhands-like fashion, and iconic Scissorhands gloves.
In the photos shared by James, he delivered a stern gaze into the camera, capturing the essence of Johnny Depp’s portrayal of Edward Scissorhands. The basketball star’s eerie post on Instagram included the caption, “LeDward Scissorhands Happy Halloween beautiful people.”
James also shared a close-up photo of his costume, crossing the Scissorhands to provide a detailed view of the intricate attachments. The post quickly garnered attention, amassing around 100,000 likes within a few hours, accompanied by numerous comments expressing admiration for his creative outfit and Halloween spirit.
“Just A Scissorhand Kid From Akron,” was the comment posted by the LeBron James Family Foundation. The LeBron James Family Foundation is the name of James’ organization.
