Neymar is said to be leaving PSG in the next summer transfer window. The Brazilian player is still on a long-term contract with the French team, but feels dissatisfied when the fans turn their backs on him.
Why is Neymar the perfect deal for Arsenal? |
Neymar could move to play in the Premier League. And former player Emmanuel Petit thinks the 31-year-old player perfectly fits the plan of coach Arteta at the Emirates Stadium.
“I think Neymar would be a good fit for any big club. If he comes to Arsenal, I would love it. I also think he will like it there. He will like Arsenal’s technical football and style. Neymar will enjoy playing with younger players when he is an adult too.
Neymar will also have thoughts of revenge for what happened at PSG, and the tears he shed at the World Cup. He will be happy to move to Arsenal if he wants to move forward. Neymar can play on the left or right wing. With a history of ankle injuries, I think Neymar could be a player to turn the team around.”
Petit also commented on another Brazilian player, Vinicius Junior. He said that Vinicius should not leave Real Madrid despite receiving a wave of racism in Spain.
“If I were Vinicius Jr, I wouldn’t go to Arsenal now. He’s playing for the biggest club in the world and he’s been impressive for the past two years. I remember three years ago he received a lot of criticism, even from his teammates. Now he is showing his personality and is doing very well.
I was shocked by what I saw when Real Madrid played Valencia at the weekend. This is neither the first nor the last time this has happened. If Vinicius left because of this it would be a mistake. Most people in Spain are not like that, that’s just a small part. This can happen anywhere in the world. When you leave Real Madrid it’s very difficult to find happiness anywhere else.”
